Yeah, this was me back when I reserved my console last September. Of course, at that time, I had NO earthly fucking idea that it was going to be this difficult to score a console, and that I was lucky AF to get what I got. Plus it's cool because even though we stream most everything, the disc drive is a 4k ultra blu-ray player. I also like buying physical copies of games, because I can trade them in for credit when I'm done playing them, if it's a game that I know I won't play again.

Also, Hades is addictive as hell. Still haven't managed to beat the big guy at the end for the first time yet, though.

Yeah, and it allegedly had to do with tariffs, not chip shortages. I guess these things were piled up in Chinese warehouses, and trickle into the United States as they can. But that was in February; things may have changed in the past six months.

Makes me wish they still made the XBox in Hungary.

Right? The load times ALONE, dude. Trying to go back to even a PS4 Pro is like a new phone vs like an iPhone 4 or something. Even something as gorgeous as Demon's Souls loads practically instantly.

The Spider-Man games DO load instantly. The whole game world, just *bam*.
