Today we witnessed some kind of exorcism in a thrift store

Post by mortatone »

Not kidding!

So we stopped into an outreach center thrift store over in Daytona. On the way in there was a sickly looking woman in a wheel chair with several men standing around her and one of them was praying to/at her.

We just kinda start shopping and after a few moments the praying gets louder and more intense. The woman began to speak and yell. The man praying got even more intense and entered full fledged yelling and speaking in tongues while the woman flailed violently in the wheelchair, screaming stuff I couldn’t understand.

Then it calmed down quickly, they both relaxed and he started gently asking if she wanted to go to god and they quietly exchanged conversation that I couldn’t make out.

Then mrs mort bought a couple of skirts and I bought this blue cow. I really like the cow. It was 50 cents.

I don’t know what’s more Florida - the thrift store exorcism, or that cow picture.

definitely the exorcism - that cow is more Wisconsin than Florida (and I've lived in both)

Wasn't that long ago and somebody was talking about an exorcism for the wood in a hardware store performed by a bunch of robed loons.

BTW, that cow DEFINITELY found the weed patch.

yep.. in my old PA neighborhood. Didn't surprise me at all. That place was full of weirdos. I didn't realize how miserable it was living there until I moved into an area I actually like again..
