The leftover tracks from the WCD sessions thst show up on Least Worst Of are excellent. Big fan of It’s Never Enough too.

Yeah man I don't hate the track in the OP at all.
Never LOVED Type O but I dug some of their stuff pretty well. I may need to revisit. We did cover We Hate Everyone in one of my old bands back in New England.

I've been binging the new Helloween for the past 4 days or so So this type of music is a nice contrast to that
Yeah, any discussion of 90s-ish gothy metal begins and ends with Type O Negative, IMO. Pete was just the master of that stuff. October Rust and World Coming Down are gloomy masterpieces, and the vibe on those records is unmatched.
There's a YouTuber named Denis Pauna who can vocally do a damn good cover of Pete, and he does stuff like "what if Pearl Jam's Black was written by Type O Negative" and shit like that. It's a kind of entertaining, if somewhat shallow, rabbit hole to jump into if you're after that type of sound.
I like this style a lot. It all sort of stems off of Bauhaus, Sisters of Mercy etc, which is great.
But yeah I like it. I still want to make a record in this style. I can sing this vocal style really well too since my voice is naturally very low.

Having heard your speaking and singing voice... I'd love to collab on a Type O cover with you.
Pick a tune, and I'll record the entire track minus vocals for you.
Dude I'm in! I haven't been able to set up my studio in the new house yet because there's some construction involved (I'm building a room in the attic) but it should be done very soon, 1-2 weeks tops. I'll bump this thread when it's done.
Let's do White Slavery
