Chaoseum

Post by Maddnotez »

If you can get past the super heavy Korn influence these guys are really good. I am not typically into this type of music at all but I think these guys will blow up soon. They seem to have a wide variety too and still kind of forging their sound I think.

Acoustic version of a song (theyre working on an acoustic album)

The heavy version

Blatant Korn ripoff

I like this one

I saw an ad on my FB feed of these guys. Hard pass on the visuals alone. I do dig some early Korn stuff as well as some of the better nu-metal; so who knows.

Lol definitely cheesey and gimmicky but theyre good.

The singer makes the band for me. They started with a female vocalist who well, was ok but not amazing.

Well. In MY opinion these guys are better than Korn by a lot.

The singer rips Davis off quite a bit but he has his own touch as well.

Korn was kind of groundbreaking for their time I think. Not saying they're bad but if youre into Korn I can't see how you wouldnt like Chaoseum. Have to ignore the cheesy image and Korn ripoff though.

I'm a sucker for a lot of nu-metal. I love the grooves. The visual presentation has always been hit or miss with me though.

I unfortunately regret that, despite the fact that we may in many ways agree on a great number of things, I have only one possible response to the opening of this thread.

NO.

And this. I mean sure, to each their own, if you dig it, by all means. But...this was a hard pass BEFORE I saw the Joker face.
