...and then some!!! If you didn't post that stellar review, I doubt I would have ever bought a tub. :hi5:

Check out the lather on my brush.... a perfect, wet, yogurt lather. It spreads out about 1/8 " thick and I got two applications from one brush load. The pic was taken after the first lathering.
I usually do a WTG pass and quickly brush on some more for an ATG pass.
With this combo, there were no nicks, papercuts or razor burn.

I leave the tub cover off overnight, to dry soap and it made the whole bathroom smell pleasant. Getting my money's worth!!!

FINALLY, a great shave. This Yates head goes nicely on this WCS/Charcoal handle. Good blade too.

This TFS Saturno soap is awesome.

Interesting shave. The CG Everyday is so weird. It's like it's kind of blade forward, but terribly inefficient. I still like it, but it's mandatory to use a better blade than what I've been using. This TiBam handle is badass. I normally don't like bamboo shapes, but this rules.

Extro is awesome.

What kinda bowl are you guys using to make lather. That little stainless one I got is too small. The only decent thing out of that kit I bought was the brush. That proraso red is pretty decent.

Load the brush on the puck.

Make lather on your face.

I ditched bowls for the most part 12 years ago and never looked back. It’s an extra step.

+1 to what Geno said... load brush in soap tub and apply to face.
With creams, I put a dab on the brush and lather on the face.

I still have Moss Scuttle bowl that can be filled with hot water... I used it two or three times. It doesn't really do anything.
Geno sent me a bowl... It makes an excellent and most useful pick holder! :thu: :hi5: :rawk: :rawk: :rawk: :rawk:

My nephew’s baptism is in two weeks; I will use Uncle Walter that day, but not before. It doesn’t seem appropriate.

Today, I went with Stupefacente, and brushed directly onto my face. As cool as the horn bowl is, it’s being retired, effective immediately. Still want a different brush.

Stupefacente and uncle Walter are two of the very best. They are still in my starting line up of my den after hundreds of soaps over the last couple of years.

Hadn’t posted in a bit here. No pic but just had a nice relaxing shave with my usual handle, feather blade, French connection soap and Loranger aftershave balm. This is my favorite combo. Uncle Walter stuff looks cool. I think I’m due to try a new DE handle.

I can see why y’all go overboard with this stuff. I really enjoy shaving now. That proraso is some good stuff. The sir hair I got is pretty decent, and that six dollar barn door handle performs as well as my Bevel handle.

Really digging the Mad Max Handle on the SLOC (with a Bruce Lee blade).
The high alcohol content in the Atomic Age Bay Rum really lets you know where you made a mistake.

Rushed photo, but good shave.

Tatara adjustable dialed to 4.5/5 with tomy (2). Outstanding.

Xxx menthol. Awesome.

Wild West brush. Awesome.

Ach Brito colonia = awesome.

Sv colonia balm = burned my face. Wtf.

Still a 10/10. I’m about to put my sv balms into storage. It’s too hot outside.

Worried about some stuff, so I wanted to use the scent that reminds me of lunch with my Mom. We used to go to Chinese restaurants, and the jasmine tea in the foyer always smelled like this. It brings me back. I miss her. Noble Otter stuff shaves awesome as well.

Tatara was good. RK Stainless was meh. I'm starting to wonder if I actually like it. I think it was a fluke in my Muhle.

perfect result though. 10/10
