Dude I started that about half hour in after a 15 hour workday; couldn’t follow it, gave up and hit the Wiki page and couldn’t follow that either. Figured I’d give it a shot another time when I’m more rested.

Interesting. I found Tenet way better than Inception.
Dragged Across Concrete: Very disappointed/10. I loved his other movies (Bone Tomahawk, Brawl in Cell Block 99), This one was so forced and the script was awful. Plot holes galore. Bad acting, particularly by Jen Carpenter and Mel Gibson. I see where they were going with this, but the movie was awful. I have no idea how he can go from those other two great movies to this pile of shit.

Long winded and very direct to video fake exploitation vibe. He needs a better editor, imo. Vince Vaughn is all over the place when he's not doing the motor mouth comedy schtick. Sometimes good; sometimes not so good. I think I thought this one was ok when I watched it but not near as good as Tomahawk or Concrete. Both of which could also use some more editing and better pacing than what they got.
Army of the Dead 8/10 for what it is. Which is a good action heist film with zombies. Brilliant move having some of the zombies with actual personalities and relationships. That really added to it. And Bautista bringing some actual acting chops yet again. Dude was not at all what I expected back when he was doing the stony faced wrestling schtick.

Definitely a fun watch.
Dude needs to knock of the plastic surgery on his face. Super weird. Always dug him in wrestling and thought he got kind of pushed to the side more than he was entitled to in that particular environment.

Yeah, he kinda got the "named jobber" status there.
I was wondering what's been going on with his face/head. It's like the more acting jobs he gets the more wide and short his whole head gets. It's uber weird at this point.

The scene near the beginning where Mel Gibson is in Don Johnson's office, Mel's character is partially based on me.

Wow......thanks for the explanation! I was wondering why I thought he was looking more and more pointy headed.... Maybe his plastic surgeon is same one that they used on Zippy!!! (sorry for the big pic.......)
I have yet to find Whiplash for viewing when the wife is able to tolerate "one of those" movies (i.e. something that interests me and not her most of the time). It's on my desperation if she's out of the house list at this point, though she's never out of the house when I'm there anymore so I'm not sure when I'll manage to find it.

Yup. I did end up finishing it after a couple of days. Just pretend the first hour doesn't exist and it is decent.
A Quiet Place Part II: Really liked the first one. Most of it anyway. I liked part II more. Great pacing and great acting especially by the deaf actress. Cillian was really great too. PLUS... it was my first movie back in the theaters.

Yep. Great flick. This was our 2nd (?) one back? Saw Spiral and wasn't anywhere near as enjoyable as this one was.
