I'd sub canadian bacon for the pepperoni but good either way. Pineapple with crushed red peppers be the magic but no parmehschlong on this one.

The pineapple thing too?!! All in one thread?!!?

Fun fact: even though ham and pineapple has been a thing on pizza for ages, the recent memetic trend of debate is just like when sriracha, or bacon, or zombies, or whatever else took off as the thing to have an opinion on lol.

Dominos capitalized on this in their social media marketing, big time. They would, regardless of the messaging in their social posts ("Get delivery today!, OnSale now!" etc...) ALWAYS picture a pizza with bacon and pineapple on it... and the ad engagement went through the roof because.... pineapple opinions.

Pineapple and green olives make a really awesome pizza IMO.

Pineapple is acceptable with ham or canadian bacon. Arguably it can be alright with pork sausage, but pork definitely needs to be involved for pineapple to fit on pizza.

Pepperoni can sometimes work with it, depending on how the pepperoni is made.

But if you stick pineapple on a pizza with hamburger or some shit I will fight you.

Is there nothing those Russian assholes won't try to use to drive a wedge between us?

I make a mean sourdough biscuit. It's awesome with sausage gravy.

But they aren't limp.

no.

They don't even deserve the capitalized version of that 'no.' They're terrible. Dirt flavor with the texture of rubber. Sure, various grades of rubber based on which specie and how it's prepared, but it's still just dirt flavor with the texture of rubber.

Pizza is one of those "no rules" foods IMO. NY style/Detroit style/Chicago style/Freezer style/Left out overnight style.... it all eats just fine.

The only thing I've ever seen on a pizza that was just straight up stupid was macaroni and cheese.

I was with you until the last sentence. There's a place near me that makes a killer mac and cheese pizza with caramelized onions and a white, creamy sauce. It's kind of bougie too so it's not super greasy. Excellent when I want to get my fatty on.

Also Billy have you hit Ledo's yet? Now that you're a Marylander I think it's required. It's definitely not the best pizza ever but it is good and I don't know if it's the sauce or cheese or what but I don't think I've ever had another pizza that tastes like it.

Yes, I've been to Ledo's and I agree. Ledo's is good. It's the sauce that makes it unique, it has a bit of a sweet taste. And they sell the sauce by the jar too. Last week I bought a jar and made some pasta with it and it came out great.

Well, you live in Maryland. You have to have Old Bay on your crab cakes. It’s like serving apple pie with a slice of cheddar cheese in Wisconsin. Or brown mustard on brats. Or old-fashioneds being made with Korbel brandy, and only Korbel.

It is absolutely great on fries. And of course the classic Baltimore martini which is Natty Boh with Old Bay on the rim.
