I walked passed a pub the other day and heard 'Them bones' playing. Much winning.

Kix pops into my head about once a month for this:

Though mostly because it was shoved down our throat on Headbanger's Ball way back when. Cheesy 80s rock ballads stick in your head like crazy once they get there.

The past week or so if I'm not playing something else this pops into my head really quick and stays there:

Just a great all around song.

Loop Quantum Gravity - Satellites and Sidescrollers

There's some serious grooves in there.

EDIT: Shit, thought this was the what listening to thread when I posted. Right now it's that one trippy riff in there with the squeals on the last beat.

TesseracT's new one. Nocturne starts out with a badass bendy/slidey riff. 'dat Riff.

Also, Cyclone Temple's Sister chorus. Deep harmonies just stick in the ol' craw.

No Sugar Tonight by The Guess Who lol and I have NO idea why, I haven't listened to that song in years!!!!!

That album (American Woman) was the first rock album I've ever owned/listened to, when I was like 4 years old. So I guess the songs are ingrained in my subconscious.
Guitars:
'78 Les Paul Pro / '89 SG Special/ '04 Gibson Les Paul Classic 3 pickup / Jackson Star/ Endres Tele / Fernandes Rhoads/ ''74 Hohner MIJ strat/ 2 Partscasters

Amps:
Depends on when you ask. I got tired of constantly updating this section lol

Cabs
Marshall 1960A w V30s/ Seismic 2x12 w Redback and V30.

I actually dig The Guess Who. My uncle had a cassette tape of theirs when I was a kid that we listened to alot when we worked.

always wanted to do my own cover version of "No Time Left For You"

I will always be a Guess Who fan, for one simple reason. In the early 80's they were on tour and had a night off in NC. So they came to Camp Lejeune, set up thier whole stage outside, and played a free concert on the base for all us Marines.

Totally free..... thier stage, thier gear, thier gas/roadies/busses, etc.... totally free. :thu:

Btw, they sounded awesome, played for hours, hung out afterwards, took pics & signed everything anyone asked them to sign until the last fan left. Not many American bands would do that, and TGW are Canadian.

Laugh, but always thought "No Time" woulda been WAY cool with Jimi doing it.

Think, main riff to "No Time" , but being played sliding up & down the neck like on "3rd stone from the sun"
