When I moved to Austin we stopped to get gas a little south of Dallas off the highway.
I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw gas under $2.00 a gallon. Must have been the first time I've seen that 20 years, couldn't fucking believe it. It doesn't surprise me that everyone drives a truck/SUV in this state considering gas is cheaper than fucking milk.

It's beautiful. The lowest it got during the... whatever the hell we're calling 2020... was like $1.15. I could fill my Navigator up for $35.

Yeah this was mid-August last year and I'm thinking it was like $1.35 maybe? All I knew was I couldn't believe how little I spent to totally fill a big ass Uhaul truck.

I couldn't even tell you what the prices are like here at the moment since I refuel so infrequently.....pretty sure it's not as low as it is in Daveland though

Dave wrote:Apparently it’s not that cheap at most places. I was driving to Costco today for fuel and passed a bunch of places still running $2.70-2.90.
Meanwhile Costco is $2.37 AND their staff finally got the mask memo
Bro this is why I hit the third ward for gas. Shit never breaks $2.45 in the hood.
