Let's hear them. There will be no shame or judgement in this thread.

For a little while at least

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this song. Suck it losers.

I've always felt this tune would translate well to a loud, heavy guitar version.

Bring it ladies.

I may bust out some Nick Kershaw :D

I was 11. I didn't know jack shit about Italo disco or Hi-NRG, and I certainly didn't have any well-developed gaydar yet. But I knew this was the catchiest song I had ever heard in my life.

I'm 40 now, and I think it still may be.

I'll be 41 next month. You know exactly where I am coming from. Of course, I grew up with two older sisters. So my taste may be a bit more whacked out then others.

If you missed the 1980s', you just plain missed it :D

^^^ Big Country. BC was like the Scottish U2, with Stuart Adamson managing to be Bono and Edge at the same time.

This could be half of my youtube play list, and these are just from the 80's. Don't get me started on 70's pop

^Spot on. 80s pop in general had this innocent, melancholic vibe that some, 2Chainz-Nikki Minaj mashup or Taylor Swift yawnfest could never hope to achieve.

I still sing Big Country all the time around the house. It pops in my head and off I go.

I also fire this one off all the time:

Stewart is amazing. I've always felt he is the antithesis of Neil Pert. If Neil were the opposite drummer he is, he would be Stewart and vise-verse.

The Police were my first favorite band as a kid. Still are in the rotating top five all time for me.

Ghosts In The Machine is criminally underrated.

No shame in The Police. All amazing musicians. I saw them in Milwaukee back a few years ago on their reunion tour and it was a transcendent experience.
