What is this some sort of revelation? People are always going to abuse the system no matter what is. Not to mention if Double Barrel holds an opinion you can expect it to be wrong.

Please explain where this piece of "journalism" lists anything but anecdotal accounts with little or no verification. Also, what are the percentages of fraud?

Nothing new. I've been approached several times at the grocery store by people offering to pay $200 of my groceries with their food stamps for $150 of my cash. Happens often around here. Sucks really.

"Statistics" and "facts" mean very little to modern so-called conservative. Too bad because I used to be a con myself. They have shifted so far to the right and so far away from reality that I am now considered a moderate liberal.

Communism didnt kill anyone-its an idea. A concept that mankind works together and shares the rewards relatively equally among its people is not KILLING anyone. Greedy power-mad tyrants kill people and they are'nt just doing it hiding behind a single social system.

The percentage of food stamp payments that are trafficked has been about 1% for the last decade.
