Hey Ovid9, Boston vs. St. Louis

Should be a bang-up series. I can't wait.

I don't know how your Cards do it. That's one hell of a farm system. Pujols walks away, pfft, whatever. LaRussa retires, ok, NEXT.

They just keep pumping out the players and pushing all the right buttons.

Anyway, the two best teams in Baseball this season are playing for it all.

Good Luck!!!!!!!

This wouldnt be happening if Prince Fielder wasnt the most over-paid joke in sports! Tigers need to deal that $200 million clown asap as he killed them in the playoffs and last years WS.

He obviously thought he was closer to the bag than he was. But it's still hysterical.

I think he may have registered on the Richter Scale.

Yeah this should be good! Lots of good pitching, plenty of good hitting.

Looks like Allen Craig might be back as our DH which would be great! :D

If Cabrerra hadn't been hurt I honestly think the Tigers might have won. I know he was out there playing, but he wasn't nearly 100%.

But Boston is damn good. "Send away half your team, make it to world series next year."

This should be a damn good series. Both teams really know what it takes to get to the top so no nerves to be had. I'm taking Sox in 6 in front of the home crowd though.

Yeah, both teams are grinders. Just total seamhead dirtdogs. This should be killer.

If it goes six or seven, I plan on being in Boston. Hopefully with a ticket.

Did Leyland call it a career? I had no idea. That sucks. I love his straight shooter attitude.

Yup, he didn't have a contract for next year so I kinda wonder if it was one of those "We'll let you retire so we don't embarrass you not offering a contract."

He's had a heck of a career. 5 teams are looking for managers and a couple are pretty decent gigs.

Detroit
Washington
Cubs (well, after another year or so of suckage)
Mariners ()
Someone else....can't think of it right now.

Cubs are going to get the Red Sox bench coach, Tory Lovoullo(sp?).
