Life back to normal. USDA is open, happy about that.

I got bacon in my freezer.

Fact is, we will never be able to pay this debt off. Even at 100% taxation.
All the employees allegedly 'furloughed' are getting back pay- so in reality, the shutdown was at that point rendered worthless.
Why keep fucking around? Open back up.

I just find it extremely lulz-worthy that the part of the government which controls all spending, allegedly shut down the government to protest spending, or was it... I lost track of why they did it cause the story kept changing, but initially it was all about spending.
Maybe one of our constitutional scholars can explain how that worked.

I fucking hate politicians.
Scum, all of them. With nothing but lust, greed and control in their hearts.

could happen since elections are next year....
what's more interesting is that the spending lasts till next year if I'm not miustaken so we get to see something like this again around January but this time it will be the start of the election campaigns so something tells me the right-wingers won't be as feisty then

Oh no, the districts are so gerrymandered it actually pays to be feisty in an election year for a lot of them.
(This swings both ways, why we allow political partisans to draw district maps I have no idea. Oh wait, yes I do, the two sides have agreed to rig the system.)
We'll see if the Republican leadership can keep the crazies in check though.

I'm looking forward to this election year more than Super Bowl.
Lol, just can't wait for the drama session, the slandering, the hilarious commcercials. "He wants to rape your grandma..."
"He wants to..... Fuck..... You..... In the ass."

Hopefully all the commercials are done with the VoiceOver work of that guy that does the monster truck/supercross voices.

That would make it entertaining for sure!
"Tuesday tuesday tuesday! Your vote is required to prevent Rep Smith from murdering your grandma and raping your kittens, and possibly you! If you don't vote for party Y then you are essentially murdering your grandma yourself! Remember, its on a Tuesday TUESday TUESDAY!"
