I looked for the thread again the other day to no avail....it seriously had me in tears. Broken english, odd insults (anal butt ticklers or some shit like that), etc. It was a thread for the ages.

Congrats man. I've been using my 90s 2 channel Rev G dual rec as my live amp for a long time now. EL34s are the way to go. Rectos with EL 34s are just ungodly huge and mean sounding. Easily the heaviest amp I've ever heard, and that's saying a lot considering how many millions of amps I have. You will love it.

Really dig Rectos with a boost in front of them. Without a boost = completely unusable imo.

Right on. Not sure what rev the 2008's are. I definitely plan on trying it boosted. Really looking forward to getting it. Supposed to be here Monday.
I'll definitely do some clips and a review.

I think mine is around the same age. I assume it's a 3 channel? Mine is serial number R45001. Does anyone know where I can find out the exact year?

It was a custom build that I had done. I never bonded with the Kahler. I played it for a while when I first got it but became a back up to my other customs that I had from the same builder. It is a tits guitar but literally has been played twice in the last 7 or 8 months.

Was that a Mammoth? I seem to remember you had a couple of really cool Mammoth custom builds.

It was. Great fucking guitar, just really shied away from pointy shredders over the last year or so and away from tremolos even more so. I still have the white and black one I designed and the San Dimas he built for me. He is currently building me a Neck Thru Les Paul Custom in honor of my brother who passed last year. It's loosely based on the Zakk LP's. My brother always wanted a neck thru version.
It's going to look like this:
