Some of you have seen this in the making so I figured I'd start a thread.


Youngblood and I started talking about playing a show together and at this point several bands have expressed interest in joining the fun. My new band Whiskey Theft will be playing a couple songs to kick off, then on to the forumite bands. So far my band Roman Hands, Mike's band Robo Cougar, one of Clay's bands, and the possible debut of Shea's new group. In other words, shit is going to get real. All kinda Les Paul on boutique action, Orange whoreyness, vox class and lots of beer swillin'.


We're talking a Friday night show and then all day BBQ lake party on Saturday.

I'm guessing we can book this at the Gypsy Room but I want to get Youngblood's opinion on it. Maybe he has a better place in mind?

yeah gypsy lounge would probably be easiest. unless anyone else has any suggestions and/or hookups. ill message mike from gypsy and see which fridays are available.
there was talk of Danny Bravo's band Megabig playing too, ill message him and see if hes still interested. them being the most big time at this point, will get there pick of either second to last or last spot, and i guess RC will take the other.
i know danny is a BIG grill/smoke junkie too, which could help on the BBQ front perhaps.

Damn I don't know if I'll be ready this month. Maybe by the very end of September. I don't even have a name yet. Though if worse comes to worse I'll just gig under my real name but that is not something I really want to do.

you can ALWAYS tell self-written bios. ours is on RN, but i tried to make it as doucheless as possible. not sure i succeeded.

You can always tell a self-written bio amateur style as soon as they make the reference to other bands- re: who they sound like


I can't imagine Pantera's bio read, "often compared to a heavy kiss, can halen and bethoven"

Note: there's always that pseudo random ass example from blues, symphony, etc. As a stand-in to really explain, "even though we dress like tards, act like tards, talk like tards and play like tards, the influence of bethoven or Mozart proves that we are actually smart and edgy.

yup looking like 9/28 show, 9/29 debauchery, 9/30 dave crawls back to dallas in shambles.

Fuck! I'm actually playing a show in Austin on 9-28. What time is yall's show? Mine is for a concert after a benefit golf tournament. Gonna pay really fat but I'm pretty sure I'll be ready for some debauchery after being in the snooty rich folk environment for a few hours.

Let me find out what time our show ends that night. I definitely want to hang with you scum fuckers.
