Braves pitcher Tim Hudson breaks ankle covering first base

It's a shame that this happened, and I feel for Hudson, but I have a lot of respect for Eric Young instantly going over to apologize and check on him. I hate to say it, but it was more Hudson's fault than Young's because of where his foot was. He should've had his foot on the inner edge of the base on the 2nd base line. Either way, I hope he recovers fully and quickly, and I hope it doesn't end his career.

Definitely Hudson's fault for being all over the bag. Credit to Young for not only going right over to him and waiting until he was carted off the field, he was also wiping away tears while headed to the dugout. Class act.
