Sal and Richard sent in some stuff to Riley Martin's show where they had him reading names that they made up. They sent in all kinds of goofy names like Jenna Tilwarts, Anita Rimjob, Lou Stool, Kimmie Head, Mike Oksmall, Eaton Twats, Sofonda Cocks, Eileen Ulick, Hugh Jasole and more.

Incredible that this went on air. But not sure it's racist and terribly offensive. Bad taste considering the loss of life - but racist?

Kronkite editorialized plenty. He just didn't scream outright lies in your face. When he returned from a visit to Viet Nam he became fervently against the war, and he was an enthusiastic cheerleader for the space program.

Right, but he didn't editorialize everything. I know he had his opinions. But he was entirely capable of just giving the news.
