First build doubts: Simple SS amp

Hi everyone! :D

So I was thinking on building a combo amp. SS, with the least knobs possible, say... Master/Volume, Tone, and Gain. And enough power to get the best out of a single 12" speaker.

The thing is I live in Argentina, and buying kits from the internet... They just surely won't arrive. Although, there is a guy around here that gets you the components you need and makes the PCBs if you bring him the schematics.

I have some experience, I replaced the electronics on an old guitar; successfully to my surprise! But nothing more than that. Even though I googled a bit about simple SS DIY guitar amps, I couldn't find anything useful for my knowledge in this field ( :p ).

Should I go for some DIY pedals first?

I would appreciate very much any type of contribution or opinion :D Thanks in advance!

I've been wanting to make this - it's all common parts, should be easy to source everything you need. Plus this layout makes things really easy for someone starting out.
