I dig this classic movies getting back to theaters. Put 'em on a regular schedule and people would flock.

Yeah, but I think that was a regular release. These are being done as part of the "American Movie Classics" series, which so far has been mostly Sundays and mid-week single or double showings, with no regular releases. Last year it was really old stuff, like Casablanca and such. This year they've had Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, and they're ramping into other 70s and 80s titles.

We have Cinebarre which I think is kind of similar. They actually show stuff like Mad Men on the big screen!

If only the original Star Wars restored to the original theatrical versions would be playing in theaters. Disney would make some serious bank.$$$

Give 'em time. They're still trying to sort out which hooks they sunk into what parts of Lucasfilm at this point.
