I have a house for sale in Hawaii that is 20 mins from the north shore. Really wish I could buy it.

Slee, I wish you could understand how badly I want quit my job and go surfing this coming winter. Not some three week jaunt. More like four months. Central America and the Caribbean.

got two weeks in costa rica coming up in nov, am counting down the days.

I was there Dec-Feb 1996-97. Best days of my life. Based the trip in Jaco then bounced up north a few times. Please take tons of pics. I'd love to see how much it's changed. The construction was just ramping up when I was there. From what I hear, Jaco is shadier than ever.

Santa Teresa/Mal Pais was as close to paradise as I've ever experienced.

I was in Jaco 2 years ago, its super shady now but still very gorgeous. the smaller towns just south of there are very fun and not as bad. never had surf like that though, it is perfect.
