Look what got fixed after 13 years.

The 2290 lives again.
Sounds just as epic as i remember.
The crazy money I’ve spent trying to get it repaired 3 times over 13 years has finally proven worth it.
These are money pit ticking time bombs, but they sound sooooo good. The German guy in Arizona is the first person who knew what the fuck he was doing. Kudos to Brian.

Also, anyone that hasn’t played an Egnater seminar amp of any kind, you’re missing out. Nothing like the Chinese made mass produced amps. I think I need to retake the class.

I have been thinking about doing it for a few years. Of course covid screwed it up for a while, but now it would be actually doable I think.

Did he say what was wrong with it? I am curious what would go bad in these, other than electrolytic caps.

I’ll find out for sure, but one of the main chips looks brand new.
The caps were the first thing i had fixed. 11 years ago.
