Both hilarious, and sad due to accuracy.

This is true.

Let me say, though, that it's loads easier to deal with than the drama involved with video gaming communities and leagues that have a high concentration of adult players. So many of those people either a) revert or b) throw all ethical standards out the window, it's really sickening. Even though the people that cause problems are less COMMON in the older age groups, their BS is so potent and inescapable that it makes it seem worse.

I've been part of the toy collecting community. Believe me, I'll see your reverting and ethical standard slide and raise you sweaty fat men knocking kids out of wheelchairs to be the first to get to the new toy release before them. Sadly, yes, I'm serious.

Heh. One of my friends used to work at the local gaming store/nerd gathering place. One of his former coworkers sent him this the other day:

"Today I had to explain to a little girl that I could not sell her a My Little Pony t-shirt because we only had them in men's sizes"

Of all the weird shit I've encountered on the internet I find the Brony phenomenon to be the hardest to wrap my head around.

Yeah, its like "The internet has made everything acceptable. I can't feel like an outcast anymore. I need a reason to be reviled so I can have my feelings hurt all the time......I could TOTALLY get REALLY CREEPILY into My Little Pony! That's the ticket!"

That's the only thing I can get.

And that oatmeal comic is awesome. I lol everytime I read it.
