I picked a bad time to try to start and play through DS3. I’ve played it before but never finished but I’m absolutely loving it this play through (pretty sure the DeS remake helped with that) and I’m nowhere close to the end. And this game drops Friday lol.

It’s pretty good. I’m on PC. HDR is buggy and sometimes produces a really washed out image. Looks to be a fun game.

I've been reading about some performance issues in the PS5 version. Framerate hitches, pop-in, etc. How is it?

No real frame issues at 4K, I might notice a stutter now and then but nothing bad. I’m running on a newly specced system I completed a few weeks ago (actually started ordering its parts in Fall 2020).

I just got mine and played a little. Running in performance mode, I see a little stutter but very little. It’s workable. The game looks amazing. BTW, take your time to rest at a site of grace after lighting one as that’s where you’ll meet your rune maiden who levels you up. I just ran around on foot for the better part of an hour before I did thst. Just lighting them, running on, and killing shit.

Oh ya, don’t miss the spirit bell item an npc gives you after you unlock the horse. Randomly came across her at night time.

Played a little bit last night, made it to Limgrave. Still don’t have my horse. Just wandered around a little bit and got to some catacombs with a mini boss that looked like a stone dog that shoots fire out of its mouth. Didn’t look like much to me at first, then in typical From style, it killed me probably six times before I got him. lol

Choose the option to rest at a site of grace and you’ll get your horse. Like the rest option from the site of grace sub menu.
