Serious question, when trying this stuff rolled, how long does it take for the burn in the back of the throat to stop and the excessive coughing?

Anyone here grow their own? I've been considering it because I don't like paying $60 after taxes for 1/8 of flower. I usually buy carts, but sometimes it's just nice to sit in the backyard and light up flower.

So a friend of mine at work, her step dad has some medical problems and he began smoking. He ended up growing some plants, she said his house smelled of it haha. So once he started drying the buds, I asked her if he would give me some because I think he had like 3-4 plants worth. So she's got a bag for me! I am running over to her house at lunch to pick it up, I have no idea what strain it is, but hey, free weed!

I've got an outdoor shed that would be a good place to grow in, it's got a double lock on it, and per the Az law, if you grow you have to have it locked so kids can't get to it.

I never had much luck growing (fungus is another story…)


But weed is cheap in CO unless you’re going to custy dispensaries. I get pissed if I’m paying more than $20 for an eighth

Dude, I'm not a smoker of any type and even the smallest drag had my throat burning. I'm guessing it's like drinking, gotta build up that tolerance.

Get a bong. Way smoother. Much more effective.

Bong certainly helps. We used to put ice cubes in the water.

Ice cubes in the main tube cool and condense the smoke beautifully

I’m not gonna lie I’ve been smoking we e daily for 15 years and it often still makes me cough. I smoke cigs without coughing but the weed still tends to get me. Less so than dabs - those absolutely destroy my lungs

The coughing/throat irritation (as I understand it) is the terpenes acting on your system, which is what you actually want.
