This one really surprises me, leaving me wondering what happened. The dude is a legend.

Like most, I grew up watching him host Americas Funniest Home Videos. I’ll never forget the first time I saw him do standup, my jaw was on the floor. So out of character and raunchy. It was like learning that your dorky uncle was a bank robber or something.

Was quite surprised when the movie Half Baked came out and Bob Saget had a small role where he said he "sucked dick for cocaine" hahaha. Prior to that, I knew him from Full House and America's Funniest Home Videos, quite a different role hahaha.

It looks like Bob Saget was murdered and the Orange County Sheriffs and Coroners Offices completely botched the investigation. Coroners basically found that he fell 30 feet head first mutliple times and then crawled into bed.

You know, I saw something on 4chan about it, but I thought they were trolling. So something fishy did happen to him and he wasn't just found laying peacefully in his bed?

Yes. The coroner ruled multiple falls that would have needed to be over 30 feet high inside a one-story room to be an accident. His skull injuries are far more in-line with someone getting hit by a metal bat or bar multiple times. Therefore, there is a murderer on the loose and the trail is getting cold. Most hotels only save their video for 14 days. Let's hope that they erred on the side of caution and started saving all of the video from that night. My guess is that someone working at the hotel tipped off the assailant(s). The assailant(s) probably came through the lobby around 3 a.m. and took the elevator. I would start questioning employees immediately.

Everything I've seen, including quotes from the coroner's report in an article this morning, says the injuries were consistent with someone falling backwards and hitting their head.

Coroners from multiple counties have gone on record saying that this is far more consistent with someone getting hit by a bat. They say that you could not fall this hard and that there is no way that he would have laid down in bed on his own accord.

"Coroners from multiple counties..." - unless I'm mistaken, coroners outside of the jurisdiction don't tend to chime in or refute the findings of others unless it becomes a court case. Not trying to pick a fight, but those statements sound very "conspiracy theory" like. My gut tells me that if he was beaten to death or there was some nefarious cause of death, the acting coroner would have put that in the report. If not, he would have to either be completely incompetent or in on "it" - whatever "it" is...

“This is significant trauma,” Dr. Gavin Britz, the chair in neurosurgery at Houston Methodist Hospital, told the New York Times. “This is something I find with someone with a baseball bat to the head, or who has fallen from 20 or 30 feet.”

Dr. Joshua Marcus, a neurosurgeon at Nuvance Health, told People that it’s the fractures around Saget’s eye sockets that raise the most questions for him, given that they’re not something you’d necessarily see in someone who fell and hit the back of their head. “There are people who fall from standing and have things that look just like traumatic injury,” he said. “The thing that’s tougher to track here are the fractures. To have a fracture, you have to have enough blunt force on a bone — directly on a bone — in order to fracture it. It’s very hard to fracture your orbit [bones in the eye socket area] without traumatizing your orbit. The report reads like someone who just had a bad head trauma," Dr. Marcus, who also did not examine Saget, explains. "I think the bigger question here is the mechanism of there being just a minor head trauma, which this just feels less like. [This] doesn't smell like a benign head trauma, here," he says. "It looks like someone who had a major roll down the stairs, car accident, bicycle accident, motorcycle accident." While Dr. Marcus does acknowledge the possibility that Saget could have suffered a very bad fall, the injuries around his eye sockets still give him pause.

Dr Jeffery Bazarian, an emergency physician and concussion expert at the University of Rochester Medical Center, said it was possible that if Saget had struck his head hard enough and in the wrong place that fractures could extend throughout his skull - particularly if he couldn't break his fall. However, the notion that Saget could shrug off such an injury didn't quite add up. "I doubt he was lucid," Bazarian said. "And I doubt he thought, 'I'm just going to sleep this off'."

Dr. Megan Ranney also addressed her concerns raised by the autopsy report and demanded that Saget's family know what happened. 'Hi. ICYMI: This is not a 'slip & fall'. This is not a minor concussion. This is MAJOR head trauma. My condolences to Saget's friends & family. I hope that they get answers as to what really happened. PS: this doesn't mean it was INTENTIONAL trauma, either. But this is more than just 'I whacked my head on the kitchen cabinet.' she tweeted.

Doctors or not, don't you find it odd that people who (apparently) read an autopsy report - but have no firsthand knowledge - are weighing in on it? Maybe I'm naïve, but I don't have any reason to suspect that the coroner or medical examiner that was actually involved has any reason to cover up the true cause of death. But, I could be wrong - I guess we'll find out on TMZ
