I liked the first episode, not sure if theres more yet.

Boba Fett the benevolent crime boss is a fun premise.
Had cool space monster.
Had some enjoyable fight/chase scenes.
What else do you need out of a star wars thing?

It looks like COVID restrictions really narrowed the scope. I think I've counted 3 sets

Its not bad but it's not grabbing me like Mando.

"

The first episode was kinda slow. The second one was better. Being a SW fan I’ll watch. Plus Favreau does a good job writing from a fan standpoint.

It's not the Mandalorian, but they went to all that trouble to write and film it, so, I'll watch

I'm curious to see what they do with Andor, Obi-Wan, and the others that are coming.

Why does the Mandalorian take his helmet off all the time? I thought it was against their beliefs

they explained that last season of The Mandalorian...... Mando was brought up in a pretty extremist sect of the Mandalorians, that was their rules.... regular Mandalorians have no issue taking their helmets off

I actually kind of enjoyed that moment, him realizing/confronting that in real time was actually well done from what I recall.

This is incorrect. Jango Fett was raised amongst Mandolorians, but was not one. Boba Fett was not raised a Mandalorian, he just likes his dad's armor. Mandalorians do not take off their helmets. Mando only took his off last season cuz Pedro Pascal demanded it in his contract and the writers had to find a way to work it in.

I mean regardless of how it came to be written in it’s canon now. This shit is all fiction no matter what, don’t speak about it like there’s some factual reality to measure against.

yeah.. they retconned all that in season 2 of the Mandalorian.... Bo-Katan calls Mando out on not taking his helmet off and explains that only the Deathwatch Mandalorians refused to remove their helmets, plus in the Star Wars animated series, which is cannon, Mandalorians had their helmets off all the time . As for Boba Fett, they surprisingly to me had a scene where he was able to trace his lineage to a Mandalorian family which is why Din Djarin gave him his armor back
