Has anyone tried Delta-8 THC? I just can't smoke 'todays' pot. Makes me so paranoid with only one small hit. I've read where Delta-8 THC is a buzz without the anxiety and paranoia.

I have never tried it.

Buy some edible 5mg gummies and cut them into quarters. A 1.25mg dose will most likely just mellow you out rather than knock you flat like a full 5mg dose.

My nephew gave me a big bud of pot. Stinks to high heaven I broke a very small piece off and put it in my old pot pipe. Got only one hit off it and I was wasted Gave me a big panic attack

What are the gummies you are talking about? Probably can't get them in the bible belt, Indiana

They're very chill. And according to their shipping policies, as long as you don't include anything full spectrum (only Delta-8), they'll ship to you. They also make Delta-8 enhanced CBD oil.

This is all legal on the Federal level. Though act fast, several states are gunning for Delta-8 because they can't fucking stand people being chill. Full rage or fuck off according to most of them.

weed does different things to different people . Here in L.A. weed shops are like restoration hardware stores . They have everything ! A million different strains and potency all listed and served up by hot weed skanks . They know what they are doing and could help you get a low potency strain , maybe a indica that would just mellow you . But it may just be you and the weed . Relax indoors with your favorite Indian music and chill . Not a single reason to be stressed or paranoid . Prep your mind before going in , maybe do some yoga or porn .

I've tried it a couple times, definitely much more mild than regular weed.

My suggestion would be to make your way over to Illinois and go to a dispensary.
Get some Indica 5 mg gummies and try very small amounts at first, like 1/4 of a gummy.
Also don't do the thing almost everyone does and keep taking more because you don't feel it yet and then end up high out of your mind an hour later.
Edibles take time to kick in, give em that time before going deeper.

Also consider getting a cartridge of Indica and let them know your specific concerns. You can really dial in your dose and hit size with proper selection of the cartridge and controls on the battery.

Pre-legalization in Illinois I remember the local CBD store / head shops had hemp joints for sale. Got them twice and they were super mild so it might be something worth trying.

Personally I never smoke, rarely vape, and sometimes take edibles (like once a month maybe) and I much prefer edibles over anything else. Its a quite different experience than smoking but I'm always much less paranoid than if I smoke or vape.

It’s probably the strain that’s doing that to you. I notice paranoia with certain strains.

I think I deal with this less with indica, which I come to enjoy more and more in my older age. I used to be all sativa because I liked the heady creative high, but sometimes it’s too heady especially when I have real life stress shot going on. Goes into that paranoid zone.

I get a little visual kick with enough edibles. Watching TV or movies people's heads start to morph into really odd-ball Beavis and Butthead looking heads on skinny, long necks with little bodies. Going back and watching my Mac's screensaver sends me reeling. I'd love to go to one of those dome cinemas with a star-travel type vid on them someday. That'd be the shit.

Oh yeah I’m not saying there’s none, it’s just not as extreme for me that’s all. With edibles the paintings in my house look enhanced and more interesting but with “real” psychedelics they fully come alive.

I just ordered 10 gummies that are 25mg each. I suppose I should cut them into 4 pieces starting out? I have a feeling 25mg would kick my ass

I haven't tried the Delta 8 stuff yet but I agree with those saying you're probably just smoking the wrong strain. I smoke indica only for the same reason, I like pot to relax me not to make me paranoid.

That’s definitely been the beauty of legalization is getting to pick and choose exactly what you’re wanting and actually knowing what to expect.

I certainly hope Texas gets its act together on that shit soon. While I’m plenty stocked up it was certainly more convenient when I could just run to the store for it.

you're all depressed and shit, and weed doesn't help that. If you're already up in your head with negativity then a lot of strains will just amplify the issues. Indica will help you relax, but it's more of a bandaid to your much larger problems.

Weed, like most mood enhancers, should be enjoyed when your head is in a good place. Not used to avoid your problems.

Here in DC it's crazy because it's legal to smoke, but it cannot be sold but it can be gifted. So you go to the store and buy something stupid like a hat and get a " free pot gift" with it

Depends on the person and tolerance. My wife gets blitzed on 5mg. I have to give her a sliver of an edible that's probably no more than 2mg, otherwise she's toast.

I can handle 25mg pretty decently, definitely won't be completely plastered but I'll be high af.

I'm used to stacking up 2-4 different psychoactive vices at a time though like a true partytime bro. Me and Charlie Sheen, and a few others here.

Yeah, I figured that. I will cut them in fours and then cut them up also. Makes around 1.5mg per piece. I'll start there and see.

And Dave, I agree with your comment. I've seen my doctor and she put me on Buspirone. It is really working for me. I want the Hemp to curve my drive for alcohol in the evenings. My liver is begging me to quit drinking and so is my blood work

AA might do you better than weed. Go hang out with people who have really hit rock bottom and gain some perspective. Substituting weed for alcohol isn't going to solve anything.

It is for him. THC is much better for you than alcohol.
