He was a sweet, peaceful cat. So serene. Never took a swing at anyone. But his health was poor and his body finally gave out. It was time unfortunately.

Damn, man. That sucks. RIP, kitty bro. Enjoy the memories you have of him of a life well lived. In the end, that's the stuff that matters.

I've inherited my dad's cat... never thought I'd be a cat person...

They make great friends, and I'm really sorry to see that you've lost yours, Paul

Yeah, it is surprising how deeply these little animals burrow into your heart. He was exactly as sweet and cute as he looks in those pictures.

Thanks guys.

Condolences man. I love cats. We lost one last year. His health just went and the stuff the vet had us try didn’t help. So we just made him comfortable until he passed. I’ve had a few cats and they’ve all had such unique personalities. The one that lived the longest was the first one I ever had as a kid. He lived to be 19. I got him when I was 5.

RIP Angus. Sounds like you were an awesome companion.

My sister got him and his late brother years ago. I think they came through the vet office she was working at.

I miss the little fucker something fierce.

Thanks guys. I appreciate it. I have to admit that the past couple of mornings were tough not having him around while I had my coffee. He would usually sit right next to the chair and I'd reach down and scratch his head while I read the news/forum. I also keep looking for him in his usual spots out of habit :(

On a lighter note, my sister is going to start the interview/audition process this week at the shelter. So we'll have a new kitty here soon. Might even end up with two.

We just got new kitties the end of last year right before we lost our 21 y.o. cat - they are brothers. It's great watching them racing around and roughhousing. They haven't figured out they outnumber the dog yet.
