I get that there may be a few unreleased gems, but what exactly does this mean in today's world of streaming music? Article doesn't say they're going to remaster any of the tracks, just reissue the same stuff I am currently listening to.

It sounds like they cut a deal with the label to keep their legacy available.
The label will more than likely initiate streaming along with selling vinyl and possibly CDs.

^ That's just it though, I've already got like 15 albums to choose from on Amazon Music. Is it just a rerouting of royalties from the label to the band?

Not trying to be argumentative, just curious. I get how it worked a decade ago when we were still buying CDs, but I really have no clue how the streaming / payout thing works, or what "reissue" even means in light of how I/we currently obtain our music.

I just want them to get the money.

"Reissue" sometimes means, their material has been out-of-print for a while so, the label is "reissuing" their old stuff.
Not sure if all their material is available streaming - if not, it looks like it will be soon.
Royalty payments on streaming and "on demand CD manufacturing services" are always questionable. When you're not stocking and shipping on your own, you have no real control over your own income.
Stiffing bands on royalties is why we always hear about bands suing their labels.

Dweezle Zappa is trying to set up a website where bands can sell their songs and merch and receive 100% of the sales.
Only catch is that, the minimum charge to the band is $20/month and that charge goes up as you gain followers.
