Newsflash: Dave Davison is a beast. Also; Troy Sanders (other than a couple of phrasing quibbles) knocks it out of the park \m/

Yeah man. I watched that live and then re-watched it. Marty's phrasing is so ridiculously good and 30 years ago... man.

It's not at all news to me that Dave is a beast. Easily my favourite guitarist these days.

The drummer's playing is putting me off for some reason. Like he's either going too fast or adding shit.

I noticed that too. Not enough for me to dislike the cover but yeah his drumming was weird in some parts.

As dumb as this may sound; I'd love to see Troy Sanders in Megadeth. KILLER vocal take.

That was awesome, god what a good song.

What I'd give for a full cover version of this album with different singers.
Just goes to show how good of an album Rust really is with it being absolutely awesome despite Dave's singing.

So now the drummer is irritating me too   Too busy. Or maybe it's e-drums mucking it up?

There was a time when Dave was the perfect voice for Megadeth. Obviously lol. They've tuned down which is a good thing for him. I would love to hear some other takes on Megadeth stuff but his vocal phrasing is very unique. It's pretty much all he has ever had as a vocalist. I would not want to hear someone change that. Sanders does great at sticking to the script for the most part; while giving a little more melody in the delivery :rawk:

yeah I've never really like Mustaine as a singer but the music was so good I gave it a pass, then I just got used to it after a while.

Troy did a great job though, the songs does sound much better with his vocals.
