I just got a new job after almost running out of money being

unemployed!
Unfortunately, a covid test was part of the new hire process and I tested positive. Going to get a second test done today elsewhere. Heard there were a lot of false positives from self tests. Otherwise I have the rona and bills aren't getting paid this month.

Ugh man. Hopefully the next test will be different or at the very least your new job is willing to let you start after 2 weeks or whenever you test negative. This year really sucks. Mojo sent.

Thanks guys. It's going to be a pretty sweet gig once I start. If I do have covid the symptoms I have are indistinguishable from allergies.

Oh yeah new job spent a lot of money on my background check. They are contractors for the military. They said if I tested positive it would just push back my start date. So that's a glimmer of hope.

We have a location near me that is also free and quick. I just got back from a retest. Hoping to hear some good news in a couple days. If not I'm gonna take a nap. haha
