Chris, a founding member ( the more ambient guitarist), said some guy sexually assaulted somebody and said some record label was racist.

The other founding member fired him.

Kind of made me sad. It was the soundtrack to some good and bad times for me over the last 13 years or so.

Band ended with a sad whimper after coming into my life with a bang. I hung out with the 2 guys twice. They even came to my house once.

Never liked mogwai or pelican.

I never really left the phase, and am now playing in a post rock band

I never got into mogwai, but I never really gave them much of a listen. I like pelican just fine, but they're kinda just like boring more mellow Isis to me (ISIS is one of my favorite all time bands, up there with the Dead for me)

I guess I never totally left the phase. It was my whole life from 2010 through 2013. My most rewarding, happiest days were with my bro Falcon Joe playing post rock. But he moved away. I got married, had kids, etc. life spun away from fun and artistically rewarding.

Days of the falcon was always one of my favorite forum member bands back on HCAF

Man, that sucks. I remember you turning me on to them a few years ago. It was the first, "anti-road-rage" CD I ever owned.

I mean, I’ve kind of moved on, but it’s sad when things end in a non epic fashion.

True, but I haven't been able to really get in to his solo stuff for some reason
