And yet the USDA offers no guidelines as to how food is grown. High five!
I'll take a heaping serving of methyl bromide, a large k-pam, a side of chlorpicrin and a sprinkle of methyl iodide.
Thanks USDA and DPR!
Hilarious, no one gives a shit how food is produced until you go organic. Then all of a sudden it matters.
Feelsgoodman.

The best thing to do is to goto local farmer markets. Prices are good (and most of the time you can negotiate). The plus side is these small-time farmers usually dont have the money to be purchasing the heavy artillery that the big organic farms can purchase.
For example, an organic herbicide is about $5-600/gallon. A small farmer is either going to let the weeds go, or manage them by hand.
You probably already know this, but:

I have a problem eating conventional foods. I get indigestion. I can taste the chemicals most of the time.
The crazy part is these chemicals smell like candy. It's pretty hard to pick out a chemical on your produce unless you've physically smelled the chemicals because as I said, a lot of them smell sweet.
Washing your produce off does nothing, they were designed to repel water so that they're effectiveness is improved.
Ugh

You sound like my fiancé. She's crazy about this crap.
I can't eat/grab/look at anything without her ripping it from my hands and scowering over the ingredient list while she googles everything to see if its bad.
Sometimes im like fuck man. Now we buy all organic, I don't mind that because I know what goes into the conventional and organic farming.
Our pets now eat organic now, too.

I'm not seeing the USDA certified seal on those bottles either.
The bottom one has the Unilever insignia. I'd trust them as much as I trust a pawn shop owner.

I'm all for locally grown, organic, hormone free, etc.
But what really gets me is when the hippie fucks start rallying against GMOs (not just Monsanto, I mean even the idea of a GMO gets them going).
You can't have it both fucking ways. People gotta eat, whether its covered in pesticides or not.

Yeah, I try to stay with the Veggie Wash, but Unilever or not, you can see, feel, & taste that the film is off your fruits and veggies with the Fit.
Fit is essentially a low grade citrus based degreaser. And it does work to remove the film off fruits and veggies.

Pretty much. The only real difference is if you don't get the Fit rinsed off all the way everything will smell/taste slightly of oranges, rather than soap.
