My new neighbour swears by this stuff and I said it's probably just BS He gave me two bottles to try. I've been taking 3 a day for a week now and my lower back is not hardly hurting at all I can honestly say that I'm feeling different in other ways also. Maybe this stuff isn't 'snake oil'

I'm not sure about these pills in particular but hemp/cannabis is more than proven effective as a natural pain reliever. Also great for seizures and some other applications.
It's not the cure all miracle drug some claim it to be... but for pain, yeah it works.

CBD works great for pain. Try vaping it.

Omega 3s and 5HTP aren’t too bad for you either.

Actually that reminds me that maybe I should start takin 5HTP again.

Agreed, and that's my biggest problem with the CBD "industry". I have no doubt that it is useful for some specific health issues, but it is not truly regulated and there are very few legitimate studies to prove effectiveness for a given use. That allows people to make any number of ridiculous claims to juice a money grab. I'm not for big government, but when it comes to health, no one should be able to claim effectiveness without proof. The unreadable "These claims have not been verified by the FDA..." disclaimer at the bottom of advertisements is not enough. Any substance that truly has the ability to effect someone's health positively, likely has the ability to effect it negatively. If I had to guess, CBD and the variants are effective for less than 25% of the purported claims and snake oil for the remaining 75%. If we knew where it was truly effective (studies/testing) it would help everyone. The idiotic lack of testing because of the association with evil marijuana is, well, idiotic....

And that's great... As a follow-up to Billy's comments, my point was that it should be sold only for the things that it truly helps. If that's one of them, then label accordingly. There are some ridiculous claims out there and it doesn't take a degree in medicine to know that a lot of them are BS...

Kbiz is right. 5htp may be giving a nice serotonin boost. Makes you remember what it was like to be a kid when you didn’t have a persistent underlying existential crisis 100% of the time.

Also topical CBD is legit for muscle pain. Its one of those things I thought was bullshit until I actually put some on a pulled muscle in my neck and no longer had to move around like Micheal Keaton in Batman to look at things.

I take full spectrum cbd from a local vendor for its general numbing benefits, but I find gaba with b6 works better for anxiety. I have pretty bad anxiety.

Interesting. I may give it a try. I have old man aches and pains (mainly in the joints), my memory is crap and I have a short fuse due to stress and anxiety. Sounds like I should give it a shot.

The memory thing, I just don't have quick access to my memory "files" anymore. Its like someone searching thru a file cabinet for a piece of info. I know its in here, just give me a minute to find it.

Is it really? I've seen a number of power lifters and strong men promoting/selling CBD products but figured it was just a jumping on the bandwagon to make money deal.

Exactly. My file cabinet handles are missing off the drawers. When I woke up today my neck was killing me where I had surgery years ago. I took two Hemp pills and went out and mowed the yard. Within one hour no pain. I'm fucking loving this

Don’t get me wrong I think some of the miracle cure all benefits are definitely overblown and being that it’s unregulated I’m sure many products are effectively just lotion with too low of CBD to have any effect but the specific cream I use is legit for muscle pain.

I’ve tweaked many parts of myself between BJJ and lifting and it’s amazing to have around. Joints it doesn’t really do much of anything for but for muscle pain it’s amazing. I got into it by going into a CBD store after not being able to turn my neck without serious pain from a BJJ injury. I became a believer when I tried it in store and was able to turn my neck again within a minute of applying the sample cream. Now I never don’t have some on hand.

Been doing so great with body pain lately and I feel it's from the Hemp. Went to the doctor yesterday to get meds refilled and checkup. She talked me into a Pneumovax 23 shot. She said at my age it is a good idea with the other crap going on. Now, this morning I could not hardly get out of bed. I feel like I got hit by a Mack truck. All my joints are popping and cracking and hurt. My head feels like it's going to blow off and my right arm (shot arm) is killing me. My eye sight isn't too great either? I wish I could fill my own meds because I would not even go to a doctor

And the side-effects are what I've got. Hopefully this shit will go away soon. My fucking head is just about to blow off
