Bros....

My little terrier dog was just attacked by a bull at my shop.

She is in the emergency room now in super critical condition and needs surgery.

I don't have the dough to pay for it. If anyone of you can see your way to buy one if the guitars for sale to help pay for it, I would be super grateful.

Just make me an offer. Don't worry about the listed price

I'm gonna pot this in the main forum as well

Thank you

I know you have other fires to put out right now BUT the owner of the other dog is responsible for all bills. Prayers

As soon as I left for the vet they grabbed to dog and bailed. They will probably hide it hoping that it will blow over and they'll get off the hook. It won't. They wont.

I am going to do just that. I tried to call the police. Press 1 for this, 2 for that, on and on, till it finally dumped me into someone's voice mail. Haven't heard back.

I know you are reeling, but, go down there and do it in person. You have to get this dog and it's owners on the record.

Motherfucker - I'm reeling just reading this - can't imagine what you are going through.

Hoping for swift justice, but it can't change what happened - so sorry for you and yours.

My ex wife is inconsolable. She hasn't stopped crying for 7 hours. She blames me, and rightfully so. It happened on my watch. I didn't protect Lola. My other dog Emma is wondering where her dog is and pawing at me to go get her.

This may qualify as the worst day in my useless miserable life. My biggest failure ever. Nd that dog was super bonded to me. I'm not gonna get over this one.

Just fucking kill me. Please.

Yes I know. It was a helluva day and I was busy trying to save the life of my dog. There was no time to wait on the cops to finish their coffee and donuts.

This is not your fault
This isn’t even the pitbulls fault.
It’s the pitbull owner who is responsible here

Whoa, now. You got my attention with this. So I feel like I have to respond. Feel free to ignore.

[In my best Dr. Phil voice]

First, it seems we people have a tendency to turn pain into hate and anger. It seems like you did this and projected them on to yourself, and similarly your ex did the same and projected them on to you. I think pain has such an attention-hoarding power that we focus only on it with severe intensity. This being unbearable, we convert it to anger in an attempt to cope with it, and we certainly cannot focus on anything else.

My 2-cents here: I think, looking at this from a different angle, this enormous pain is indicative of the enormous LOVE Lola received. It seems to me Lola was one crazy lucky dog precisely because she had you guys as family. So however tragic and traumatic her final moments were, let's not forget, what seems to me, the absolutely blessed life Lola lived.

Let's also not forget Emma either. Emma, likely sensing your pain, is pawing you to console you too. That's pretty SELFLESS of her. She's worried about you. So let's not be so selfish and start talking about ending things. There hasn't been a time when you guys needed each other more, and let's hope that Emma's not the only one that understands this.

You had little to no control of what happened to Lola. But you now have an opportunity to take control of this new situation, and it starts with you. Yes, it's unfair of life to ask you to be at your strongest when you are at your weakest. But after mourning Lola's departure, this is how you and Emma will honor Lola's life, by living.

Prayers

Sorry, I know this is a guitar forum.

I appreciate your thoughts, mate.

My ex is moving to Portland in a month and she will be taking Emma with her. She was going to take them both, but...

When I tell you I fucked up and it cost my dog her life. I am not exaggerating in the least. What transpired is unforgivable.

Don't be too hard on your self sometimes these things happen before we have time to react. I feel so sad for you and your dog, I know how i would feel if anything happened to my dog. Even though he is a little bastard at times.
