Trying to make up for the lame original post
It's still partially lame because, quite honestly, I still haven't powered it up. Too much shit going on and I had to completely re-think the "studio" to make room. (
Note:It's probably time to start downsizing, but that's a different thread...). Regardless, the new gear has a home and I have 4 days off for the holidays. I'm bound to find time to crank that shit up

the wife has been told I'm getting a guitar for my B'day.... was planning on selling my Midtown Custom since its my least used guitar for the last year or so... so if I get that sold then I might just pull the trigger on my B'day guitar 6 months early lol

There you go - the JR is pretty awesome...
Find a way to keep the Midtown, played frequently or not, those are nice

it is.... but... as far as humbucker guitars go the Musicman really out plays it for me.... the Midtown IS a great guitar though, which is why I'm not really in a rush to sell it... but at the same time, I'd rather have the JR than the Midtown and the herd is getting bloated.... kinda missing the days of 3 guitars tops lol... maintenance was so much less hassle back then lol
