This muzak makes me happy for some indiscernible reason. It's got a goofiness to the groove or something. Like tummy rubs for the soul, with a sarcastic twist. :thu:

Hey man thanks for listening and the nice comments! The bass player on here is a pro player in town, him and the drummer just laid down an improv track for me and I overdubbed the rest, so any goodness you're hearing is probably him and the drummer lol.

Did someone mention tequila?
My favorite tequila drink is the Bee Sting:

INGREDIENTS
2 Jalapeño Slice, about ½ Inch Thick
3 oz. Tequila
1 1/2 oz. Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
1 1/2 oz. Honey Syrup
Garnish with Jalapeño Slice or Lemon Twist

Honey Syrup:
2 oz. Honey
1 oz. Hot Water

DIRECTIONS
Stir honey and hot water together to make honey syrup.
Muddle jalapeño in the shaker gently.
Add tequila, lemon juice and honey syrup.
Fill shaker with ice and shake for 15 seconds.
Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish. Serve straight up.

This doesn't sound half bad, and I'm not big on tequila. Reminds me a bit of the cowboy kicker.

Make cowboy candy, which is sliced jalapenos boiled in simple sugar. I slice them the long way so they work better as a garnish in the end. Strain the simple sugar and store in fridge.

Muddle lime and cowboy candy simple sugar in shaker, add whiskey and ice, shake well, strain and pour. Garnish with cowboy candy, cherries, lime. Revel in the spicy whiskey goodness. My preference is a nice bourbon for this one, though I've also used a Crown Royal, and a couple different Scotches in it. Always a treat.

Man, that Cowboy Kicker sounds tasty! I just printed the recipe because, I always keep at least one bottle of booze in the house and my current bottle (Plymouth gin) is almost gone.... next bottle will be bourbon! :hi5:

The secret with the cowboy kicker is finding the balance when boiling the jalapenos. You want enough to infuse the sugar with the jalapeno flavor, not enough to make the jalapenos soggy. Depending on the peppers, that can be anywhere from five to twelve minutes. Thicker walls = longer. The rest of it's silly simple. It's just an old fashioned using lime instead of orange and jalapeno simple sugar with the extra garnish. Tasty as can be. The caramel/oak of the bourbon blends perfectly with the spice and fruitiness.

Well I'm about a millions miles away from them talent-wise, but I'll take that....they are one of my all time fav bands, so that's kinda funny you would say that.
