Part of the issue with people is social media 
People feel like they can "grandstand" and that they have the right to cry/whine and bitch if their paawww little feelings are hurt. On the other hand you have attention seeking whores who feel the need to gloat. show-off, grandstand and have "look at me, look at me" 24/7
