LOVE me some JS.

It gets a little annoying after a while watching him play, with his annoying "tick" of making sure his knobs are on 10 on the guitar, every 2 seconds.

That's my favorite Sykes solo. Unfortunately the album didn't have much of a chance coming out in 1993 plus it had been 4 years since the first Blue Murder album.

I had that same volume knob tic during my gigging days, and the more nervous I was the more I did it. Probably the only thing I have in common with John Sykes.

Oh I have that tick too, but it's only like a couple of times a song.

For some reason, as someone who was a big Sykes fan (I had an Edwards Sykes LP for awhile), I find him less and less "listenable" as time goes on.

Great control of the instrument, but really wanky at times. More so than a lot of other guys of that era.
