Good afternoon,

Earlier today, Apple announced that they will be releasing the new Apple Watch (which I might just buy), and not one, but three new iPhones. The big one is more up my alley, and I'm going to get one. That's not really my complaint: Why no small phone? I know that a smaller, cheaper phone would suit my parents, and my brother and sister use the SE, as well. An SE2 makes more sense than that stupid iPhone XR, that's for sure.

Oh, and they needed an iPad update, and better Airpods. Other than that, it was an interesting distraction from the problems I am having at work.

I'm curious, but not convinced iPhone is for me. Looking towards next Galaxy (S10?) as my probable next upgrade.

Needs/wants
* micro SD slot (just so I can get bigger storage for much cheaper)
* waterproof (at least mostly)
* not ridiculous big
* affordable

I like apple due to 2 reasons.
1. the eco system.
2. apple operating system OSX is far far superior to windows from a user perspective.

I like to plug my phone into external speakers from time to time, also I use the aux. port on my car stereo all the time. I hate bluetooth.

Seriously, Apple can fuck themselves away with this one.

Wasn't there a big stink about discontinuing the iPhone X because it cost a thousand dollars and no one wanted to pay that for a goddamn phone?

The best iphone was the 4s - 5s in terms of how solid they were made. They have gone down in quality in terms of production, and have stayed relatively flat in terms of technology.

We're all getting played and I pretty much hate the telecom industry (mostly service providers) with a passion. yes yes yes... I use telecom like the good little privileged capitalist beneficiary that I am. It still sucks as semi-monopolistic industry.

I'm still rocking an iPhone 5c that I bought like 6 months after they were first released. I had to replace the battery last year but otherwise it still works perfectly.
