I just sold a few things the other day. I don't have even close to what you do but thinning the herd a little felt good.

Trying to list one pedal per day.
Kind of lost steam after two days.

I don't have anywhere near the amount of gear that most of you have, but I almost never sell anything, so I have almost everything I've ever bought. I traded one of the very first things I bought (1962 SG JR) a few years after I got it and immediately regretted it, so with the exception of some PA gear I was certain I'd never need, I've kept pretty much everything else.
I have no plans to ever be in a band again and, honestly, I rarely fire-up an amp. I grab an acoustic if I want to noodle. So, I thought I would do a little purging. Turns out selling shit to people is a pain in the ass. People are a pain in the ass. I just can't get excited about jumping through the hoops needed to satisfy some of the moronic demands of "buyers". I recently sold an as-new, unused Avatar 2x12 and it took (literally) 30+ text messages, a change of day, multiple changes of time, a change of location and an absolute need to bring an amp and guitar to plug in to test it. If an opportunity to easily sell/trade something comes along, fine, but I'm not going to work that hard to get rid of stuff. I'll either give away the low cost things for the Karma points, or leave shit to my music friends in my will.
Sorry for the rant - good luck with offloading

I can only do like one or 2 things at a time . 2 pedals out . We'll Rubato has them but I feel good anyway . No the cat stays , actually cat is in charge of this project . I need to let go one cab ( since one cab just came in

) and a few basses . I will keep the lions share .

I would rather give it away to be honest . It's much easier and people don't usually share their disappointment as much if it was free

Sometimes, it's just less of a hassle to give than to receive.
Maybe you can sell off your stuff and donate the proceeds to charity or, run a GAB contest?
I went to Imgur for the Devil Dick photo and saw this....

maybe . I just need to see whats next . It should be a bass up next . Some of them are pretty worthless more or less . Most are too esoteric and even giving away could be difficult

anyhoo.. I'll get through it later . That pic is

not anymore . I had a vintage Hofner years ago . Great basses ! Was the Beatles sound right off . Especially with pyramid flats . I did however find the complete new in the box " Recording the Beatles " boxed set books . These things are going through the roof these days $$$ The book has every single studio note of every track it's amazing .

I won't be getting rid of that

That set of books looks freeking awesome!
I read George Martin's autobiography but, of course, it didn't go into nearly as much detail about the recordings.
Man, I'd love to have a copy of that!
Abebooks has them priced between $623 and $4000 !!! One on eBay with a Buy It Now price of $500!

I'm a teacher so money gets REAL thin by the end of summer. I almost always have to offload some gear to keep going. This year it was a guitar head, bass head, and a bass cab.
