Dead horse topic is dead; don't care. This song would be sooooo. Sooooooooo. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much more epic(er?) with some killer metal vox instead of whatever you call dude's approach. The chorus vocal is decent

Dude. I dig the heck out of the music in this song. It's great. It's just that Pink Floyd meets something gross vocal approach that just kills it for me.

Totally reminded of some glam metal song from the 80's I can't put my finger on tho.
I sincerely dont get why this connects. It's rehashed boring 80's rock music with apparently Michael Jackson's Thriller thrown in for imagery
