David Lynch would be like, "WOW." They beat me to it.

I want to redo it, and have it be "Hold me, kiilll meee."

It would be alot less creepy if the singers and him didn't look right into the camera. Breaking the forth wall on camera can be down right creepy in pretty much anything, outside of news broadcasting

Outside of that, it's not that creepy.

Maybe, it's the camera angles. The camera switches. The women on the stage. The guy sitting on the fake porch. The way the singer guys hold each other. The way the singer woman looks.

It's like a better version of Blue Velvet. We just need to pan to Frank Booth in the audience crying and huffing amyl nitrate.

Steel guitar in and of itself hurts my head, but the talkbox on top of it? I kinda want that...

I agree, tis a creepy vid. Hommie on the porch looks like he's about to hurl, but the soft clapping is what really weirded me out.

Plus, there's a swaying man in a full suit smoking a cigarette 5 inches from him.

:D :D

It gets weirder every time I watch it.

I actually didn't notice the stage production that much until I rewatched the video. The direct eye contact with the camera is just the icing on that creepy cake

There is nothing about this I don't love.

I'm on my third repeat right now.

The background singers faces are awesome. The redhead lady is my favorite.

Redhead lady is cold as ice. Old too.

Even the lyrics are kind of serial killeresque.

Tell me you'll love me......forever......

Sounds awesome. Sounds like the inspiration for Daft Punk’s later vocal processing style.

Pete Drake got his talkbox from Dottie West's husband, who was also a steel player. As a young mane, Joe Walsh used to hang around with that same crowd, as strange as that may seem, and Dottie's husband also gave Joe his first talkbox.

I think Joe looked a lot cooler using his talkbox than Pete Drake did.
