Fender Super Sonic 60 combo mod?

Hi all, new to the forum.
I recently purchased a used super sonic 60 combo (first gen) with the intent to upgrade the few caps and resistors to make it a 2nd gen / late 2009 model. However I’m curious as to how I should go about installing the c99/r160 circuit that doesn’t exist on the original board? I’ve read on other forums that it was easy but have found no info. Keep in mind I’m not amp savvy but pretty handy
