Warren Haynes is a beast. Sweet tones. All great players. One of the few bands that could be referred to as "jam" that I can stand for more than ten minutes.

They are fucking awesome. I've seen them twice and both shows have been awesome. They are playing at the end of May in Boston and I'm going to try and go!

Last I read he was using the Diaz 100 and the PRS amps depending on which band he was playing with.
Well, plus his plexis and SLO100

Who makes the PRS amps? One of our local shops always has a few of those. Ive never tried them.

to my knowledge PRS makes them and they are serious sleepers but come with a hefty pricetag and not a lot of reviews out.

Paul himself did amps as well as guitars when he was coming up; he just got famous for guitars first, so I guess that's what he stuck with. I remember Ted Nugent in the 80s talking about Paul Reed Smith modding his amps, and that was before PRS was such a huge household name.

ha! Very cool to see a bunch of Mule fans here. And I agree that Haynes is a monster, not only as a guitar player but his singing is also beyond amazing!!!

They're made by Sewell

Sewell makes some seriously awesome stuff, so not surprised the PRS stuff sounds excellent.

+1. It has been a few years since I have been able to catch them live. Time to end that streak.

Big Mule fan here also. Love their most recent studio album By A Thread. Great chops & great voice I agree.
For the longest time I had read he was using an SLO (with the Warren Haynes depth mod) and Cesar Diaz amps. Last I knew he started using the PRS amps. He also uses one of my fav pickups, the Gibson Burstbucker Pros!
Whatever he's playing thru, he's gonna sound great.

Huge Gov't Mule fan. I gave them a listen after being a big Warren Haynes/Allman Brothers fan and really got into their music. I find Gov't Mule to be one of those rare bands that have very interesting music that you like to listen to intently, but at the same time it is very easy to listen to in the background, if that makes any sense. Or I'm just weird.
