Playerunknowns Battlegrounds. Best game Ive played in a LONG time.
Its a fighter. Solo, duo, or team. About 100 online guys parachute from a plane on an island. You run around & find equipment, vehicles, weapons, & kill eachother.
The area shrinks till youre forced to deal with eachother.
Youre forced to strategize & focus.

Downside is you can run around equipping for 20 minutes, only to meet your demise without warning!

Yeah, were just playing early access now, & it kicks ass. How they do it for consoles, I dont know, but Im sure they have to do beta testing of SOME sort.. the full version will probably have a bunch of different maps & whatnot. On their site, they show shit that Ive not seen..

They’re already planning on porting it over; Microsoft grabbed early access and it should be out before the end of the year. PS4 won’t get it until next year...can’t be helped, but I can’t play games on a computer, it’s too weird to me.

I'd grab this once it's on the Xbone.... looks like fun

just looked it up... seems like it's supposed to launch for Xbox One on November 7th....

I can go both ways.. But I prefer PC for shooters usually because of the quick precise mouse movements that are possible, & extra buttons. Thats just how I first learned, although I can do them on console, no problem. Lets just make clear I aint bragging.. Im not great at either!
I DID make first & second place, you really gotta be alert & play careful & smart to get there. Usually I only get near 10th or worse.

The thing that gets me are the sniper guys...I’ve watched like 30 PUBG vids are there are always guys shooting WAY out there and I can’t even see wtf they’re killing. I get the feeling I’d suck at this game lol

Man I gave up and grabbed it on Steam; no one could suck worse than I do at this.

The controls are completely counterintuitive to me, having never played games on a computer.

I got to 20, but only because no one saw me anywhere, died outside the zone cause I couldn’t find a car.

It’s a good time, but you gotta find some decent loot off the bat or you’re fucked. Most games all I’ve found are pistols and then I get one shotted by a sniper from out of nowhere.

EDIT: got my first kill, shit was almost totally by accident. Dude saw me, dropped and started firing and I nailed him and took all his shit. I then proceeded to steal his bike and drive it directly into a river and died. Motherfuck.

1st few times your totally swingin in the wind, & then you slowly start kinda figurin shit out, but its a blast along the way! I usually can only go about 3 games at a time.
Yeah, MY primary strategy is to chute as far from anyone else, to some buildings, but keeping a road below in sight if possible... That way if I see a vehicle, Ill angle down, grab the car, & DRIVE to where I was going. Having transportation is pretty important, or you just die outside the zone.

I really need to get this as I have buds who play it but I don't even have time to scratch my balls at the moment, let alone get any gaming in.

Man dude that car shit is no joke. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve died just running for the Zone only to get picked off by some shifty fuck sitting right there on the border waiting to score headshots.

I was finding them with regularity but the last few games I’m trying to explore more of the GIGANTIC FUCKING MAP they drop you on and haven’t seen any. Then the zone comes in and it’s 8 fuckin miles the other way lol

LOL yeah, so ya start hoofin it in hopes of finding a car! Sometimes you get lucky.

And things I hate bout the vehicles: Those little econo cars are WEAK... & the jeep is slow. The cycle/sidecar is unstable... The dune buggy seems to be the best thing. The motorcycle is great, BUT... ive been going, catch some air, & in some weird freakin thing, you somehow flip it & just fucking die!

Yeah that Dascia...pretty fast, but goddamn if you need to climb a hill or anything in it.

I’ve flipped everything man....top speed, hit a something and the whole thing just dives into the air. Was lucky enough to land on a guy that was shooting at me one time.

Dude I linked a vid above...the game is still in beta so there are all kinds of fucked up code issues going on, some of the vids are hilarious. Check it out if you want a giggle.

Was running errands and a buddy texted me, knows I’m a console player. Dude just told me you can configure PS4/Xbone controllers to play this game. Gotta give that a shot!
