Miles Davis' Kind of Blue was released.

"A new cool modality unfurls on Miles Davis' latest album, 'Kind of Blue.' Davis' brilliant horn playing, and his sublime supporting ensemble, including Bill Evans and John Coltrane, will make the disc an enduring success, and it will be considered by some the greatest jazz record of all time."

Been a while since I've been a jazz fgt. I'll come back around though, after this techno fgt phase wears off.

My fgtry is cyclical, having nothing to do with Mercury retrograde.

I would have to say that Bitches Brew is my favorite Miles album, but Birth of the Cool and Kind of Blue were game changers.

Bought Sketches of Spain a few years ago. It's very sad sounding.
