I liked it alright, it seemed like a lot happened but not a lot happened if that makes sense.

It starts off like it is going to be better than it is, i guess my problem with it is it seems like a lot of the intrigue they build doesnt go anywhere, or ends up being anticlimactic. Hopefully they renew it for another season though, it could be good

anti-climactic? Really? I thought that whole last episode was INTENSE and awesome in so many ways. The whole thing felt like a slow burner that moved fast.... so much atmosphere. I feel like i watched a different show than you because it was pitch perfect in my book.

I'm gonna be careful about mixing who I call a redneck and who i call a hillbilly from now on......

Yea, I liked it, and was well done. The redneck joke, and the last episode use of it was perfect.

Jason Bateman to me was the only weak point, I like him in some things, but not sure why he seemed wrong for this. I know he directed it, other than that annoying me in parts, it was solid,

I thought he was good for the role considering the type of person his character starts off as... it's hard to pull him out of all the comedies he's done over the past decade or whatever so some lines bring me back to those and take me out of the moment for a second but I like him in this role.

Making that transaction is tough, maybe it is the mindset of him being in comedies throwing me off. I expect to hear Ron Howard's voice at any minute....

I really did like it i may have come off a little over critical in my initial response. I guess I meant more so there were parts that seemed anti climactic. My other minor gripe is some of the episodes seemed really needlessly long. The last episode was awesome though and I thought Bateman fit his character well. Highlights for me were the first and last episode and the part where he yells at the resort girl "You're not gonna call shit!"

Dregs of Humanity strikes again :pat:

Some derivative stuff and some lulls but overall; loved it. First and last episodes were definitely  Buddy was awesome as well  How could you not like Jason Bateman, Yarb :idk: He did great at bringing some emotion to the proceedings that I wasn't expecting.

It's like a dark comedic version of Breaking Bad. I'd give it a solid 7.
