Hi.

I think I joined here years ago with a different username but I want to keep the same handle as I use at RT. Anyway, I'm sure I know a bunch of you fine people.
Here's my latest gear pic:
Hopefully upgrading man cave soon and working on getting a modern metal amp (Mark IV gets there, I know..)

Also just got cables from Lava to properly wire my board up. Stated before anyone says how messy it looks!

I remember you from RT, and that setup is awesome.
I wonder what happened to Glassjaw the band??

What's up! Thanks, I've been slowly accumulating gear. Must stop but it's too addicting

BTW, one of the Silverface SRs is my buddy's.. His is a '73 and mine is a '77 with master volume. After running both into each others' speakers I can say the speakers make more of a difference than anything in the circuit.
I actually saw Glassjaw about a year ago or so with Coheed and Cambria. They were down one guitarist but still pretty cool.

I like you cause of your username.
Yeah, Glassjaw is still together. Seen them a few times over the last several years. It's been a good 5 years or so since they put out anything new though.... heard some rumblings that something might be coming soon. Love Glassjaw.

Right on! Yep, they released that EP which was decent but I doubt they'll ever do another Silence or Worship and Tribute.. Honestly, I'm not sure I would even connect with it if they did like I did back in the day. I was in high school when Silence was released and in early 20s when W&T came out. Fun time period

I was older than their target audience probably by quite a bit when they were in their heyday but something about them just hit me the right way at the right time. Not a style I really ever expanded into beyond them, either

I need to go diggin on YT and remind myself

Why thank you

Acquiring them has been a slow and steady climb. I had a friedman rectifier back in the day and sometimes wish I still had it but I traded it for my Mark. Still haunts me to this day

Nice! I got into that one because of Deftones. They toured together. Listen to worship and tribute and you'll see how they really hit their stride on that album. I'd assume for most people they're one of those bands that you would have to have grown up with to really appreciate what they were doing. They came before most of the other bands in that genre. Most of those bands aren't something I would typically listen to nowadays but damn I sure loved that band back in the day and still dig those albums.
