Help: What kind of reverb setting on these vocals?

So, I'm a big fan of this band. I think this chick's vocals sound epic.

Is it like a chamber reverb with a long pre-delay?

When I try to get the distant, large, 80's vibe with vox, it sounds like a washy plate. Not like this.

Please, lend me some ideas. THX!

wow there is a ton of layering ,delay , pre delay and verb , a truck load of production on that . I'd call it very wet and washed in effects but very well done and still clear and intelligible . I'd go with a deep wet verb for starters keeping the dry mixed up on another track.

Are you thinking room/hall/chamber/church/plate?

I definitely hear a doubling (short delay) effect.

Do you think she sang the melodies twice? I'm thinking "no". It doesn't have that John Lennon/Kurt Cobain doubled sound.

I hear a ton of layers , almost like Enya :D she may sung them but it's tough to say . My UAD plate will get lush like that so it's hard to call the type but deep and wet would be a good start layered with some dry

Just listening to first video at low volume on shitty computer speakers, forgive me...

The brightness in the reverb and how it sits in the mix makes me think of 80's digital reverb, like a hall emu or something. How it's processed makes so much difference though - inevitably gonna be EQ'd etc to fit the track. Hard to tell. Could be a plate. I have no insight, only words.

Thank you for your words!

Like I said, I am going for this vibe for myself, and it ended up sounding cheap instead of epic.

Don't forget JL had the ADT thing going on, which doesn't sound the same as actual repeat performances. Good vocalists can get the performances so close that phase issues between different takes become a real possibility!
